Undulating to level land, covered with mixed forest comprising rimu, rata, tawa, mangeao, hinau, rewarewa, miro, and pukatea, with thick undergrowth of scrub and supplejack. Soil a good quality, on pumice formation on volcanic cement; no water on section. Situated about five miles from Ngawaro Post office—two miles and a half coach-road, one mile dray-road, and balance bridle-track known as Cox’s Road.

Soil of good quality, of a pumice nature, on volcanic cement; indifferently watered, the Omanawa Stream being difficult of access on account of precipitous banks. Situated about five miles from Ngawaro Post-office—two miles and a half by the coach-road, one mile by dray-road, balance by bridle-track known as Cox’s Road.

Soil of good quality, of a pumice nature, on volcanic cement; no water on section. Fronts Tauranga-Oropi-Rotorua coach-road, about two miles from Ngawaro Post-office.

Broken to undulating land, covered with mixed forest comprising tawa, rimu, rata, mangeao, rewarewa, hinau, miro, with thick undergrowth of scrub and supplejack. Soil of fair quality, of a pumice nature, on volcanic cement; fairly watered by small stream. Situated on the Te Puke-Ngawaro Road, three miles from Ngawaro Post-office by dray-road.

Broken to undulating land, covered with heavy mixed forest comprising rimu, rata, tawa, mangeao, rewarewa, hinau, miro, and pukatea, with thick undergrowth of scrub, supplejack, and vines. Soil of good quality, of a pumice nature, on volcanic cement; well watered by several small streams. Situated on Ngawaro-Te Puke Road; about three miles from Ngawaro Post-office by dray-road.

Soil of good quality, of a pumice nature, on volcanic cement; well watered by several streams. Distant four miles from Ngawaro Post-office by dray-road.

Notifying Lands in Canterbury Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the fifteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.
