IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, having received the report of the Under-Secretary in this behalf, as provided by section one hundred and fifty-four of the said Act, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on Monday, the twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eleven; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase, or on renewable lease; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.

Fairly level land; swamp difficult to drain; part of section stony. Soil of fair second-class quality, on volcanic formation; indifferently watered. Situated about six miles from Taheke, three miles fair road and three miles track.

Undulating, hilly land; about 30 acres fern, balance covered with mixed forest comprising rimu, totara, matai, rata, tawa, hinau, with heavy undergrowth of punga, nikau, mahoe, lancewood, kiekie, and supplejack. Soil a sandy loam and clay of good quality, on sandstone formation; well watered. Situated about twenty miles from Clevedon—seven miles good metalled road, nine miles rough cart-road, and four miles rough bridle track.

Fronts Waiuku Estuary. Access from Te Toro Wharf, about three miles distant, by fair cart-road; and access also from Waiuku Township, eight miles distant, by good road.

WAIKATO COUNTY.—KOHEROA PARISH.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Monday, the twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to section one hundred and thirty-five of the said Act, as they contain, or are supposed to contain, metal, mineral, or valuable stone.
