New Plymouth Borough Council’s Abattoir made available for the Purposes of Part of Taranaki County.—Notice No. 1449.
IN pursuance of section sixteen, subsection (a), of the Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1908, it is hereby notified that the abattoir established by the New Plymouth Borough Council for the district of the Borough of New Plymouth has been made available for the purposes of the district comprising that part of the Taranaki County described in the Schedule hereto, and that the New Plymouth Borough Council is the controlling authority of the said abattoir.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-east corner of Section 161, Hua District, Block II, Paritutu Survey District, at the sea-coast, and proceeding in a south-east direction by the said boundary-line of Section 161 to the north-west corner of Section 100A; thence north-east by the southern boundary of Section 157 (Harbour Reserve 1) to the north-west corner of Section 2; thence south-east by the western and southern boundary of said Section 2 to Nugent Street, Hua Village; thence by the said street to its intersection with Devon Road; thence easterly by the said Devon Road to the Paraita Road, forming the south-western boundary of Section 34; thence southerly by that road and the eastern boundaries of Sections 6, 7, and 37, Hua District, Block VI, Paritutu Survey District, to the north-east corner of Section 8; thence south-west by part of the northern boundary of said Section 8 to and across the Henwood Road; thence again south-east and south-west by the Henwood Road to its junction with the Egmont Road; thence again south-east by the Egmont Road to the Dorset Junction Road; thence south-west by the said Dorset Junction Road to the Tahana Road; thence south-east by the said Tahana Road to the north-east corner of Section 137, Hua District, Block VI, Paritutu Survey District; thence south-west by the northern boundary of said Section 137 to the south-west corner of Section 131; thence north-west by the south-west boundary of Section 131 to the Dorset Junction Road; thence westerly by the Dorset Junction Road to a road intersecting Section 160; thence southerly by the said road to the south-east corner of Native Reserve K, Hua and Waiwakaiho Hundred, Block VI, Paritutu Survey District; thence south-west along the south boundary of the said Native Reserve K to its south-west corner; thence south-east to the south-east corner of Native Reserve J, Hua and Waiwakaiho Hundred, Block X, Paritutu Survey District; thence along the south boundary-line of said Native Reserve J to the Waiwakaiho Stream; thence south-westerly by the Waiwakaiho and Mangorei Streams to the south-east corner of part Section 772, Grey District, Block IX, Paritutu Survey District; thence north-west and south-west by the northern boundary-lines of Sections 773 and 774B to the south-west corner of Section 521; thence north-west by the south-west boundary of the said Section 521 to its north-west corner; thence south-westerly by the south-east boundaries of Sections 508, 507, and 506; thence north-west by the south-west boundary of the said Section 506 to and crossing a roadway, and thence south-west by the said roadway to the south-west corner of Section 491, Grey District; thence north-west by the south-west boundary of said Section 491 to its north-west corner; thence south-west by the south-east boundary-line of part Section 2, Section 813, and part 477, Grey District, Block VIII, Paritutu Survey District, to the south-west corner of the last-mentioned section; thence north-west by Paritutu line to the south-east corner of part Native Reserve 5 (containing 48 acres 3 roods 27 perches), Omata District, Block VIII, Paritutu Survey District, and thence along the south-east boundary-line of the said part Native Reserve 5 to a road; thence north-westerly by the said road, crossing the Barrett Road, and following in a north-west direction along the north-east boundaries of part 47, Sections 46, 43, and 6 to the South Road, crossing the South Road, and thence south-west by the South Road to the Beach Road; thence in a north-west direction by the Beach Road, Block IV, Paritutu Survey District, to the sea-coast; thence in a north-easterly direction generally by the sea-coast to the point of commencement.
Also including all those islands lying to the north-westward of the aforesaid described lands, and known as the Sugar Loaf Islands.

Forbidding Money-order and Postal Correspondence for James Stellin, Wellington.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the person whose name and address are shown in the Schedule hereunder is engaged in receiving money as the consideration for an assurance or agreement implied to pay money on events relating to horse-races, it is hereby ordered, under section 28 (a) of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, that no money-order in favour of the said person shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said person (either by his own or any fictitious or assumed name), or to such address without a name, shall be either registered, forwarded, or delivered by the Post Office of New Zealand.
