SPECIAL ORDER MADE BY THE MANGOREI ROAD BOARD.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Mangorei Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £850, authorized to be raised by the Mangorei Road Board for the purpose of acquiring the land necessary to make that portion of the Kent to Barrett Cross Road situated between the Mangorei and Carrington Roads, and to erect a bridge and form culverts and fence the land so acquired, the said Mangorei Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. upon the rateable value of all rateable property included in the special rating area bounded on the north by the line running between Section 775 and Section 773, Block IX, Paritutu Survey District; on the east by the Mangorei Stream; on the south by the Okurukuru line; and on the west by the Henui Stream: and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I certify that the above is a copy of a special order made by the Mangorei Road Board on the 3rd day of August, 1910, and that the same was duly passed.

Special Order made by the Council of the Borough of Greytown.

THE following special order, made by the Greytown Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

GREYTOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Greytown Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £6,000 authorized to be raised by the Greytown Borough Council for the establishment under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, of municipal gasworks, the said Greytown Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 7¾d. in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual rating value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Greytown, comprising the whole of the Borough of Greytown; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is paid off. The rate of interest to be 3½ per centum per annum; the amount payable for interest and principal to be £4 17s. 6d. per centum per annum, payable in equal half-yearly instalments. And that the foregoing resolution be confirmed as a special order at a meeting of the Greymouth Borough Council to be held on the 3rd day of October, 1910.

Made by special order passed at a special meeting of the Council of the Borough of Greytown held on the 25th day of August, 1910, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the said Council held on the 3rd day of October, 1910, and sealed with the common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Greytown, in the presence of—

THE following special order, made by the Eketahuna Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

EKETAHUNA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

Special Order making Special Rate.

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Eketahuna Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,800, authorized to be raised by the Eketahuna Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of grading, forming, and metalling, footpathing and kerbing, Newman Road and purposes incidental thereto, the said Eketahuna Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Newman Road Special Rating Area, comprising Lots 1 and 1D of Section 23; Lots 1, 1F to 9F of Section 13; Lots 1 to 25A of Section 23; Lots 1, 1C to Lot 52 of Section 22; Lots 37, 37C, 39, 39C, 41, 41C, 44, 44C, 45, 45C, 47, 47C, 49, 49C, 51, 51C, 53, 53C, 57, 57C, 59, 59C, 61, 61C of Section 21; Lots 1 to 30 and Lots 34 to 59 of Section 21; part of Section 16; Section 16A; Lots 1 to 9 of Sections 15; 15A, and part Sections 15, 15A, and 14; and Section 14A: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

We hereby certify that the foregoing special order was made by the Eketahuna Borough Council at a special meeting of the said Council held on the 12th day of September, 1910, and confirmed at a special meeting of the said Council held on the 12th day of October, 1910.

Special Order made by the Kawa Drainage Board.

THE following special order, made by the Kawa Drainage Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

KAWA DRAINAGE BOARD.

Special Order making Special Rate for Repayment of Loan.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Kawa Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,500, authorized to be raised by the Kawa Drainage Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of draining the Kawa Swamp, the said Kawa Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property classified A, and ¾d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property classified B, of all the rateable property of the Kawa Drainage District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off; and that the cost of raising same and the first year’s interest shall be paid out of the loan.

The above special order was duly passed at a special meeting of the Kawa Drainage Board held on the 23rd day of July, 1910, and confirmed at a special meeting of the Board on the 26th day of August, 1910.
