Land taken for the Purpose of a Reformatory Farm in Blocks XI, XII, XV, and XVI, Puniu Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work, to wit, for the purpose of a reformatory farm in Puniu Survey District :
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of a reformatory farm, and shall vest in His Majesty the King; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and ten.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this sixth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for a Road in Blocks III, VII, and XI, Rangiriri Survey District, Raglan County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, it is enacted that, if at any time after the issue or making of any Proclamation taking land under the Public Works Act, 1908, and before the payment or award of any compensation in respect of the taking thereof, it is found that the land or any part thereof is not required for the purpose for which it was taken, or that any error in form or substance exists in or in relation to that Proclamation, the Governor may, by a subsequent Proclamation gazetted, revoke the former Proclamation, either wholly or so far as he thinks necessary :
And whereas it is found that two of the parcels of land taken for the purpose of a road in Blocks III, VII, and XI, Rangiriri Survey District, Raglan County, by a Proclamation made under the Public Works Act, 1908, dated the twenty-sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and nine (hereinafter termed “the said Proclamation”), and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 100, page 3070, of the second day of the following month, are incorrectly described: And whereas compensation in respect of the taking of the said land has not been paid or awarded :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in me by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby revoke so much of the said Proclamation as affects the two parcels of land aforesaid—viz., 1 acre 3 roods 25·8 perches and 2 acres 3 roods 22·7 perches—incorrectly described as being portions of Sections 42 and 41 respectively, situated in Pepepe Parish, Block XI, Rangiriri Survey District (shown in pink colour on the plan marked P.W.D. 25309, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District), being part of the land taken by the said Proclamation.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this sixth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten.

Stopping Government Road in Block I, Waipakura Survey District

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof :
And whereas the Government road described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of a road :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road in Waipakura Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
