HIGH WARD.
High Ward comprises all that portion of the City of Dunedin and Town Belt of Dunedin bounded towards the north-east generally by Bell Ward hereinbefore described; towards the south-east generally by Otago Harbour; towards the south generally by right lines along centre of Jetty Street, and produced across railway land and right lines along centre of Manse Street, and up High Street, and produced across the Town Belt; and towards the west and north-west generally by Block VI, Town Survey District, and Block IV, Upper Kaikorai Survey District.
SOUTH WARD.
South Ward comprises all that portion of the City of Dunedin and Town Belt of Dunedin bounded towards the north generally by High Ward hereinbefore described; towards the south-east generally by Otago Harbour and by the south-east boundary of the Town Belt, and that boundary produced to Otago Harbour; and towards the south-west by Block VI, Town District.
CAVERSHAM WARD.
Caversham Ward comprises all that portion of the City of Dunedin bounded towards the north by South Ward hereinbefore described, from Anderson’s Bay Road to the middle of the Main South Road; thence by the middle of the Main South Road, through Sections 13, 14, and 15, Block VII, Town District, to where the eastern boundary of Section 5, Block VI, Town District, cuts that road; thence along the eastern side of said Section 5, Block VI; and thence by the northern boundary-line of Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 18, 19, 22, 23, 26, 27, 30, 31, 33, 34, 37, 38, 41, and 42, Block VI, Town District; thence towards the west by Section 45, Block VI, Town District, to the middle of the Main South Road; thence by the middle of the Main South Road to district road in Section 39, Block VI, Town District; thence along middle of said district road to junction of another district road known as Corstorphine Road; thence along the middle of that other district road to where it intersects Section 78, Ocean Beach District; thence by the eastern boundary of Section 78 and western boundaries of Section part 20, Sections 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, and 32, Ocean Beach District, and a right line produced to Southern Ocean; thence towards the south by the Southern Ocean; thence towards the east by the east boundary of Forbury Road from the ocean to its junction with Bay View Road: thence again towards the south by the southern boundary of Bay View Road to a point opposite boundary of Sections 36 and 37, Block VII, Town District; thence to and by east boundary of said Section 37: again towards the north by northern boundary of Sections 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, and part 46, to the Forbury Road: again towards the east by the east boundary of the Forbury Road, intersecting Sections 42, 43, 44, and 45: again towards the south by the northern side of district road forming the southern boundary of Sections 13, Block VI, and 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, and 12, and north part of Section 8, Block VII, Town District, and a line produced into Otago Harbour, 10 chains beyond west side of Anderson’s Bay Road: thence again towards the east by a right line to a point in Otago Harbour on the production of the southern boundary-line of the Town Belt of the City of Dunedin, distant from the middle of Anderson’s Bay Road 10 chains; and thence by a right line to the place of commencement: excepting out of the land herein described an area 1 chain wide being the Dunedin, Peninsula, and Ocean Beach Railroad.
SOUTH DUNEDIN WARD.
South Dunedin Ward comprises all that portion of the City of Dunedin bounded towards the north-west by the north-western side of Cargill and Caledonian Roads, commencing at the southernmost corner of Section No. 52, a subdivision of Original Section No. 13, and the production of the northern side of the last-mentioned road, a distance of 3000 links, to low-water mark in Otago Harbour: thence towards the north-east by the low-water mark of the said Otago Harbour, a distance of 4180 links: thence towards the south-east by a right line, 3600 links, to a point being the intersection of the middle of Bay View Road with the southern side of Anderson’s Bay Road; thence by a line along the middle of Bay View Road and Kennedy Road to a point opposite the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 37: thence towards the south-west by a right line to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; again towards the south-west by the north-eastern boundary-line of the last-mentioned section to its northernmost corner: again towards the south-east by the north-western boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 37, 38, 39, 40, and 41, across Surrey Road, part of the north-western boundary-line of Section No. 46, to the eastern side of Forbury Road: again towards the south-west by the eastern side of the said Forbury Road and its production across Cargill Road to place of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten.

Additional Land at Kaiapoi taken for the Purposes of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway to take further land at Kaiapoi, in addition to land previously acquired for the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
