London's Ford, the said Kiwitea County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound sterling upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the whole of the Kiwitea County; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off. The cost of raising the loan and the interest for the first year to be paid out of loan.
I hereby certify that the above special order was duly adopted at a special meeting of the Kiwitea County Council held on the 16th day of July, 1910, and was duly confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the Council held on the 20th day of August, 1910.

THE following special orders, made by the Waihekau Drainage Board, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908.

WAIHEKAU DRAINAGE BOARD.
Special Order No. 1.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by section 15 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Waihekau Drainage District testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the ratepayers in the said district, the capital value of whose properties as appearing on the valuation roll of the district is collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who do not so consent, the Waihekau Drainage Board hereby resolves by way of special order as follows: For the purposes of construction of drainage works in the Waihekau Drainage District, the said Board hereby authorizes the raising from the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Office Superintendent of a loan of £400, at 3½ per cent., being with prescribed half-yearly instalments £4 17s. 6d. per annum, for a period of thirty-six years and a half, and declares that the cost of raising the loan and the interest for the first year shall be paid thereout.
Special Order No. 2.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, the Waihekau Drainage Board hereby resolves by way of special order as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £400, authorized to be raised by the said Board, under the abovementioned Act, for the purpose of construction of drainageworks in the Waihekau Drainage District, the Waihekau Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 6d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Waihekau Drainage District, comprising the whole of such district; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing special orders were made by the Waihekau Drainage Board at a special meeting held on the 5th day of July, 1910, and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the Board held on the 2nd day of August, 1910.

THE following special order, made by the Frankton Town Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908.

FRANKTON TOWN DISTRICT.
Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Frankton Town Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,200, authorized to be raised by the Frankton Town Board, under the abovementioned Act, for the purpose of forming and improving streets within the boundaries of the Frankton Town District, the said Frankton Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Frankton Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annualrecurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be paid on the above said loan to be £3 10s. per centum per annum.
This is to certify that the above special order was adopted at a special meeting of the Frankton Town Board held on Friday, 6th May, 1910, and confirmed at a special meeting of the Frankton Town Board held on Friday, 2nd September, 1910.

Special Order made by the Council of the County of Rangitikei.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.—Loan of £5,500.—Raumai Road.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,500, authorized to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council, under the provisions of the abovementioned Act, for the purpose of forming, culverting, and metalling the Raumai Road from its junction with the Bull's—Scott's Ferry Road to its junction with the Sandridge Road, a distance of about six miles and three-quarters, and the cost of raising the loan to be paid out of the loan, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound sterling upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Raumai Special Rating District, comprising Sections part 148, part 150, 152, 153, 154, 155, part 156, and 157 in Block V, Koitiata Survey District; Sections part 144, part 146, 149, and 151 in Block VI, Koitiata Survey District; Sections part 1 of 38, part 2 of 38, 43, part 44, part 86, part 87, part 88, part 123, part 124, part 125, parts 126, 127, and 128 in Block IX, Rangitoto Survey District; Sections part 84, part 85, and 36 in Block X, Rangitoto Survey District; and Section part 35 in Block XIV, Rangitoto Survey District, the whole containing 6,429 acres and 22 perches, and assessed in the names of William Albert Keiller, Ernest James Keiller, and the executors of Edwin Keiller, deceased; and Sections part 148 and part 150 in Block V, Koitiata Survey District, and together containing 112 acres, and assessed to Donald Fraser: as the said special rating area is more particularly shown upon the plan annexed to the consent of the ratepayers to the said loan: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I, Robert Kirkpatrick Simpson, Chairman of the Rangitikei County Council, do hereby certify that the above special order was duly made and passed at a special meeting of the Rangitikei County Council held on the 6th day of August, 1910, and was duly confirmed at a special meeting of the said Rangitikei County Council held on the 3rd day of September, 1910.
In testimony whereof the common seal of the Rangitikei County Council has been hereunto affixed.
