Land taken for the Purposes of a Public Drain in Block XVI, Heretaunga Survey District, Hawke’s Bay County.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of a public drain in Block XVI, Heretaunga Survey District:

And whereas the Hawke’s Bay County Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities in me vested by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a public drain; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and ten.
