NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land
hereinafter described will be brought under the pro-
visions of the Land Transfer Act, 1908, unless caveat be
lodged forbidding the same within one month of the date
of the Gazette containing this notice.

Allotments 4, 5, 6, 7, Block VII, Township of Burnside
East; part of Section 78, Block VI, Dunedin and East Taieri

proprietor: and application having been made to me to
issue provisional certificates of title for the said lands, I
hereby give notice of my intention to issue such pro-
visional certificates at the expiration of fourteen days from
the date of the publication hereof.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hereto-
fore subsisting between THOMAS DICK and JOSEPH
HERBERT COWDEN, carrying on business at Karangahape
Road and at Grey Street, Auckland, under the style or
firm of “Dick and Cowden,” as Wickerworkers, Basket
and Perambulator Makers, has been mutually dissolved
as from the 9th day of August, 1910, by the retirement
of the said Thomas Dick. Business will be carried on
under the old name at the usual addresses in future by
the said Joseph Herbert Cowden, who will pay all debts,
and to whom all moneys will be payable.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which
has for some time past been carried on by GEORGE
LAND and SIMEON JOSEPH HEIGHWAY, under the firm of
“Land and Heighway,” in the trade or business of
Saddlers and Harnessmakers, has been dissolved by mutual
consent as from the first day of August, one thousand nine
and ten. The said Simeon Joseph Heighway will receive
all the assets and discharge all the liabilities of the late
firm.

HERBERT DILLON and HERBERT WILLIAM WHITE,
carrying on business at Waipukurau, under the style or
firm of “Dillon and White,” as Land, Estate, and Com-
mission Agents, has been dissolved by mutual consent from
the 18th day of August, 1910.

In the matter of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—
St. John’s Lodge No. 95 N.Z. (Registered).

NOTICE is hereby given that at a general meeting of
the above-named society, held at Eltham on the
21st day of June, 1910, the following special resolution
was passed, and at a subsequent general meeting of the
said society, held at Eltham on the 19th day of July, 1910,
the said resolution was duly confirmed, viz. :

“That St. John’s Lodge No. 95 N.Z. (Registered), which
was registered and incorporated as an unclassified society
under the Unclassified Societies Act, 1895, be wound up
voluntarily under the provisions of the Incorporated Socie-
ties Act, 1908, and that Wor. Bros. J. CHRISTOFFEL and
J. W. STUBBS, P.M.s, be hereby appointed Liquidators for
the purpose of such winding-up.”

NOTICE is hereby given that Hatton and Co. (Li-
mitted), whose registered office is at David Street,
Caversham, Dunedin, have passed a special resolution that
the company be wound up voluntarily, which resolution
has been duly confirmed and registered, and Mr. CHARLES
GRATER, Accountant, Exchange Court, Princes Street,
Dunedin, has been duly appointed Liquidator of the said
company.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
FOR A PUBLIC WORK.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the
Waimea County Council to take, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act, 1908, for a public work, to wit, the
construction of a road, the lands set out in the Schedule
hereto.

SCHEDULE.

The several parcels of land mentioned hereunder:—

A plan of the said lands is deposited in the Waimea
County Office, at Nelson, and is there open for inspection
during office hours.

All persons affected are hereby required to set forth in
writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of the
said public work or to the taking of the lands aforesaid,
and to send such writing, within forty days from the first
publication of this notice, to the Waimea County Council,
Nelson.

As witness my hand, this twenty-fourth day of August,
one thousand nine hundred and ten.
