Notice respecting Proposed Borough of Ohakune, County of Waimarino.

PURSUANT to section 117 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor directs it to be notified that a petition has been presented to him praying for the constitution of the area described in the Schedule hereto as a borough under the said Act, to be named the Borough of Ohakune. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objection to or petitions against the constitution of the said borough which they may desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF BOUNDARIES OF PROPOSED BOROUGH OF OHAKUNE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, bounded towards the north-east by Raetihi No. 5B Block, from the westernmost corner of that block to the Mangawhero River; thence by the right bank of that river to a point in line with the southern boundary-line of Section No. 1, Block I, Karioi Survey District; thence by a right line to the westernmost corner of the said Section No. 1, and by that section to its south-eastern corner; thence towards the south-east generally by Section No. 4, Block I afore-
said, and Sections Nos. 3 and 29, Block V, Karioi Survey District, to the Ohakune-Waiouru Road; thence by that road to a point in line with the north-western boundary-line of Section No. 20, Block V aforesaid; thence across that road and by the said Section No. 20 and the production of its north-western boundary-line to the middle of the Ratamaire Road; thence towards the south generally by a line along the middle of that road to a point in line with the western boundary of Section No. 22, Block V aforesaid; thence by a right line to the north-western corner of the said Section No. 22; thence by that section and Section No. 11 and the production of the north-western boundary-line of the last-mentioned section to the middle of the Kopurutuku Road; thence by a line along the middle of that road, the Rangitaua Road, and the Makara-nui Road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 6, Block VIII, Makotuku Survey District; thence towards the north-west by a right line to and by the said south-eastern boundary-line of that section and that boundary-line produced to the left bank of the Mangawhero River; and thence by a right line to the westernmost corner of Raetihi No. 5B Block, the place of commencement.

Approval of Fees for Licensing of Vehicles fixed by By-law, Featherston County Council.

IT is hereby notified, in accordance with section 107 of the Counties Act, 1908, that so much of the by-law made by the Featherston County Council, and sealed on 12th August, 1910, amending By-law No. 1 of 1909, as appoints the several sums to be paid to the Featherston County funds for the licensing of vehicles, has this day been approved by His Excellency the Governor.
