Easy country along road frontage of Section 9; balance of sections broken land, covered with mixed forest, comprising rimu, rata, towai, and a small quantity of totara, with a few kauri-trees on Section 9. Clay soil, on sandstone formation; well watered. Situated about eight miles from Kaihu, two miles of which is by dray-road, balance partly formed and in course of construction.
