Exchanging a Reserve in the Wellington Land District for other Lands.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS the provisions and requirements of the seventh section of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” have been duly complied with in respect of the lands described in the Schedule hereto: And whereas notices in the Gazette have been duly published for four consecutive weeks, and laid before both Houses of Parliament, as provided by the said section of the said Act: And whereas no resolution of either House of Parliament has been passed that such House does not concur in the intention declared in any such notice:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Act aforesaid, do hereby exchange the reserve described in the first column of the Schedule hereto for the lands described in the second column of the said Schedule.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Sections Nos. 12 and 13, Block III, Town of Rangataua. Bounded towards the north-west by Sections Nos. 14 and 15, Block III, Town of Rangataua; towards the north-east by Nei Street; towards the south-east by Sections Nos. 10 and 11, Block III aforesaid; and towards the south-west by Miharo Street: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5909/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered blue.

Reserved for a site for a post-office in New Zealand Gazette No. 93, of the 26th November, 1908, page 3002.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 23, Block III, Town of Rangataua. Bounded towards the north-west by Sections Nos. 26, 25, and 24, Block III, Town of Rangataua; towards the north-east by Nei Street; towards the south-east by Section No. 21 of said Block III; and towards the south-west by Section No. 22: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5909/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 6, Block IV, Town of Rangataua. Bounded towards the north-west by a tramway reserve, 50 links wide, along the north-western boundary of Block IV, Town of Rangataua; towards the north-east by Nei Street; towards the south-east by Section No. 7 of said Block IV; and towards the south-west by Sections Nos. 20 and 21: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5909/10, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twentieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and ten.

Land temporarily reserved for a Site for a Public School in the Auckland Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for a site for a public school.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, being Section No. 2, Block III, Town of Karangahake. Bounded towards the north-east by parts of Section No. 3, Block III, Town of Karangahake, 406·2 links; towards the south-east by part of Section No. 3 aforesaid and a public road, 425 and 92 links respectively; towards the south-west by Section No. 1 of the aforesaid block, 412 links; and towards the north-west by Section No. 5 of the aforesaid block, the abutment of a public road 25 links wide, again by Section No. 5 aforesaid, the abutment of a public road 100 links wide, and by parts of Section No. 4 of the aforesaid block, 655·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5355/11, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple.

Land temporarily reserved for Quarry Purposes in the Auckland Land District.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for quarry purposes.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 32·3 perches, more or less, being Section No. 15, Block I, Aroha Survey District. Commencing at a point 305934·1 links south and 416161·3 links east of Mount Eden Trig. Station. Bounded towards the north-east by a line bearing 150° 58′, 248·6 links; towards the south-east by a line bearing 235°, 322·7 links; towards the south-west by a line bearing 345° 33′, 215·3 links; and towards the north-west by lines bearing 20° 09′, 75·7 links, and 54° 26′, 211 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid bearings and linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5392/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
