Land Surveyors’ Examination, September, 1910, Australia and New Zealand.

The Surveyors’ Board of New Zealand,

IT is hereby notified for general information that the Surveyors’ Board, in conjunction with the Australian Surveyors’ Boards, will conduct an examination of candidates for licenses to survey, commencing at 10 a.m. on Monday, 19th September, 1910, at the Dominion Museum, Wellington.

Candidates are notified that their applications, on the proper form, must reach the Secretary of the Board at least thirty days before the date of the examination, and that the examination fee of £1 1s. must be paid at least seven days before the date of the examination to the Secretary of the Board, from whom examination regulations, application forms, and other particulars may be obtained.

Minister’s Decisions under Customs Duties Act.

IT is hereby notified for public information that the Hon. the Minister of Customs has decided to interpret the Customs Duties Act in relation to the undermentioned articles as follows:—

NOTE.—“Not otherwise enumerated” appears as n.o.e.; “other kinds” as o.k.; “articles and materials suited only for, and to be used solely in, the fabrication of goods in the Dominion” as a. & m.s. Articles marked thus † are revised decisions.
