In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of F. H. Wood and Sons (Limited), (in liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 231 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a General Meeting of members of the above-named company will be held at my office, Perry Street, Masterton, on Wednesday, the 29th day of June, 1910, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator; and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the Liquidator thereof, shall be disposed of.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the Mauriceville Co-operative Store Company (Limited).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of members of the above company, duly convened, and held at the company’s office, Mauriceville, on the 8th June, 1910, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed :—
“That it is proved to the satisfaction of the shareholders that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same.”
And at the same meeting WILLIAM BOYCE CHENNELLS, of Masterton, Estate Agent, FREDERICK WILLIAM KUMMER, of Mauriceville, Farmer, and ESKILD PETERSEN, of Mauriceville, Farmer, were appointed Liquidators.

NOTICE is hereby given that the creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 1st day of July, 1910, to send their names, addresses, and particulars of their debts or claims, and the names and addresses of their solicitors (if any), to WILLIAM BOYCE CHENNELLS, of Masterton, one of the Liquidators of the said company; and, if so required by notice in writing from the said Liquidator, are personally or by their solicitors to come in and prove their debts or claims at such time and place as shall be specified in such notice, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts or claims are proved.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a special general meeting of the shareholders of the above company, held on the 6th day of June, 1910, it was resolved to go into voluntary liquidation, and that JOHN VEALE be appointed Liquidator.

THE Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States intends to issue, one month after this date, in terms of section 59 of the Life Insurance Act, 1908, a Special Policy in place of Policy No. 1364226, in the name of FREDERICK RANDOLPH CALDWELL, declared to have been lost.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
TAKE notice that the Partnership hitherto existing between ARTHUR JAMES JONES and HARRY LANDER, at Rangiora, in the trade or business of Painters and Decorators, is dissolved as from the 6th day of May, 1910, I having given him notice upon that day that it was my intention to dissolve the said partnership.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 33s. per annum, including postage, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 3 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed “Public a/c,” and exchange added.
Postage or duty stamps cannot be received in payment from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are issued.
Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to prevent delay in publication, a sufficient remittance should accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be returned with receipted account.
