A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, for a
certain public work, to wit, for the purpose of a street in
Block IV, Motueka Survey District:
And whereas the Motueka Borough Council has laid
before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map,
and also the statutory declaration, as required by the
Public Works Act, 1908:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a street, and it shall vest, on and after the date hereinafter mentioned, in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Motueka; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and ten.

All in the Nelson Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this nineteenth day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten.

Defining the Middle-line of a Further Portion of the Catlin’s - Seaward Bush Railway, Papatowai Section.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS a further portion of the Catlin’s - Seaward Bush Railway—namely, from a point in Section 2, Block IV, Woodland Survey District, to near the confluence of the McLennan and Tabakopa Rivers (hereinafter termed “the said railway”)—is a railway the construction of which is authorised by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Railways Authorisation Act, 1909: And whereas the said railway has been partly constructed, and it has been determined to construct and maintain the remaining portion of the same:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Railways Authorisation Act, 1909, and in exercise of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the said railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point in Section No. 1, Block V, Woodland Survey District, which point is marked 31 miles 50 chains, and is the terminal point of the railway described in a Proclamation dated the 10th day of September, 1909, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 76, of the 16th day of September, 1909; proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction for a distance of about 5 miles 30 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands—namely, Section No. 1, Block V, Woodland Survey District; Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, Block VI, Woodland Survey District; Sections Nos. 7, 6, 5, 8, 3, and 10, Block IX, Woodland Survey District—and terminating in said Section No. 10, Block IX, Woodland Survey District, at a point marked 37 miles: including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Land District of Otago: as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 26593, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.

Assigning a Name to a Scenic Reserve.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS under the provisions of the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may assign a name or designation to any district, land area, hill, mountain, forest, &c., or other place or locality whatsoever in New Zealand: And whereas it is desirable to assign names to certain areas of land proclaimed under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1903:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section 2 of the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the area of land more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, and located on “Flagstaff Hill,” shall be known as “Stuart Park,” and do assign the last-mentioned name to such area accordingly; and do also hereby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and ten.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, proclaimed as a scenic reserve on page 715 of Gazette No. 25, of the 16th March, 1905, containing by admeasurement 142 acres 3 roods 29 perches, more or less, and being Original Sections Nos. 24, 1 of 49, and part of Original Section No. 2 of 35, Block V, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, and Allotment No. 18, Stanley Estate.
Also all that area proclaimed as a scenic reserve on page 1919 of the Gazette No. 74, of the 10th August, 1905, containing by admeasurement 24 acres 3 roods 35 perches, more or less, and being part of Original Section No. 2 of 35,
