In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the lessees of the Crown land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, proclaim as a road the land in Linkwater and Orieri Survey Districts described in the Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the licensee of the Crown land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, and of the Clutha County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in the Glenomaru Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

After a massive fire destoyed the wooden Parliament complex in 1907, Old Government House (depicted) became the seat of Parliament until 1918. Demolished in 1969 to make way for the Beehive.
