Notice of Acceptance of Complete Specifications.

Wellington, 18th May, 1910.

COMPLETE specifications relating to the undermentioned applications for Letters Patent have been accepted, and are open to public inspection at this office. Any person may, at any time within two months from the date of this Gazette, give me notice in writing of opposition to the grant of any such patent. Such notice must set forth the particular grounds of objection, and be in duplicate. A fee of 10s. is payable thereon.

The copies of claims and extracts from the specifications and drawings are merely intended to give some further indication of the invention than is disclosed in the title, and the complete specifications and drawings should be referred to for a description of the invention.

No. 26214.—8th July, 1909.—RICHARD EDWARD FINCH, REGINALD SYDNEY NEWCOMB, and ALBERT NEWCOMB, all of Auckland, New Zealand, Manufacturers. An improved method of applying a disinfectant or oil to open pan-closets.*

Claims.—(1.) In the improved method of applying a disinfectant or oil to open pan-closets specified, the channel attached to the under-part of the closet-seat in the manner and for the purpose set forth as described and illustrated. (2.) In the improved method of applying a disinfectant or oil to open pan-closets, the combination of the parts specified,

consisting of the reservoir having an inlet-hole and an exit-hole made therein, a needle-point regulating said outlet-hole and operated by rod or wire having knob on top thereof, a funnel fixed at top of a downpipe, said downpipe being led to overlap a channel, said channel attached to under-part of closet-seat, and said closet-seat all fitted, connected, and set to one another in the manner and for the purpose set forth as described and illustrated. (3.) The application, arrangement, and combination of the different parts specified in the manner and for the purpose set forth as described and illustrated.

No. 26246.—17th July, 1909.—FREDERICK WILLIAM ENGELBRECHT, of West Oxford, Canterbury, New Zealand, Farmer. An appliance for use in mixing grain, seeds, or other materials.*

Claims.—(1.) Means for the purposes described, consisting of a box or receptacle for the seed mounted in a frame and adapted to be rotated, and a hopper, also carried on such frame and adapted to be moved along it, substantially as specified. (2.) The appliance for use in mixing grain, seeds, or other materials, substantially as described and explained, and as illustrated in the drawings.

No. 26262.—22nd July, 1909.—ALEXANDER COLIN MURRAY, of Timaru, New Zealand, Commission Agent. An improved ironing-table.*

Extract from Specification.—A long narrow table with the top nailed or screwed to one end only, or attached to one end only with hinges so as to lift up, or fixed with a pin or a clip to enable the top to be detached. The legs at one end are hinged to fold down and provided with a clip or clips to hold them firmly in position when upright. I provide bolts to attach the sides to the legs, and special-shaped clip-washers for insertion between the sides and legs. Wing-nuts may be provided to bolts so that the whole can be folded up or taken to pieces. An under-board or trellis folding-piece is provided fixed or detachable to the sides and, or, ends.
