APPLICATION FOR LICENSE FOR A BY-WASH.
To the Warden of the Otago Mining District, at Roxburgh.
PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1908, the undersigned,
the Teviot-Molyneux Gold-mining Company (Limited), of Dunedin, hereby applies for a license for a by-
wash as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof
has been duly marked out for the purpose.
Date and number of miner's right: 21st April, 1910;
No. 76439.
Address for service: Care of Messrs. Hutton and McKean,
Solicitors, Clyde.
Dated at Clyde, this 27th day of April, 1910.

Locality of the race and of its starting and terminal
points: Commencing in the freehold lands of John Avis
Pannett, at Peg 4/64.50 on water-race held in trust for Applicant
under License No. 1192R, 15/10/08, extending through
the said lands for 30 chains, thence following Bloxham's
Gully to an abandoned water-race known as White's, thence
following the said abandoned race and crossing an abandoned
dam, also known as White's, to a gully called McDonald's,
thence by the said gully to the Molyneux River.

Length and intended course of race: 1 mile 50 chains;
first 30 chains east to west, thence north to south.
Points of intake: Commencing-point.
Estimated time and cost of construction: Twelve months;
£120.
Mean depth and breadth: 2 ft. 6 in. by 6 ft.
Purpose for which race is to be used: To carry the over-
flow from White's Flat pipe-line to the Molyneux River.
Proposed term of license: Forty-two years.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.

Evidence of the loss of certificate of title, Vol. 128,
folio 106, in favour of LOUIS LYNCH, of Waikino,
Battery Hand, for Lot 69 of the subdivision of the Owharoa
Block having been lodged with me, and application made to
issue a provisional certificate of title, notice is hereby given
of my intention to issue a provisional certificate of title
accordingly at the expiration of fourteen days after the date
of the Gazette containing this notice.

Woodville, whereof JOHN MACKENZIE CAMPBELL is
the registered proprietor, being all the land in certificate
