Establishments, New Zealand Defence Forces, revoked, and Establishments, Territorial Forces, constituted in lieu.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke such of the General Regulations of the Defence Forces of New Zealand relative to the establishments of the Volunteer Forces, New Zealand Defence Forces, made on the eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same date, including all amendments of such regulations made prior to the date hereof, and in lieu thereof do hereby constitute and fix the following establishments for the Territorial Forces of the New Zealand Defence Forces as set out in the Schedule hereto. And I do hereby declare that such revocation shall take effect, and that this regulation shall come into force, on the sixth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and ten.

SCHEDULE.

The establishments for the Territorial Forces shall be as follows :—

The above establishments include the number required for electric-lighting details in each company allotted to works of defence where electric lights are installed. The number detailed for E.I. duties will be arranged locally, and will depend upon the number of Permanent Force E.I. specialists available. Officers who are allotted positions in the defence scheme on mobilisation may be attached to the headquarters of each division in excess of the above establishments.
