THE HAWKE’S BAY EDUCATION BOARD.
MANGATORO SCHOOL SITE.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Education Board for the District of Hawke’s Bay to execute a certain public work, to wit, the erection of a public school at Mangatoro, Hawke’s Bay, and for that purpose to take, under the provisions of Part II of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” as a site for the said public school, the land described in the Schedule hereto. And notice is hereby given that a plan of the said land so required to be taken has been prepared, and a copy of the said plan has been deposited at the office of the said Education Board, situate in Tennyson Street, Napier, and is there open to public inspection; and all persons having any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said work or to the taking as aforesaid of the said land are hereby called upon to set forth their objections in writing, and to send such writing, within forty days of the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary of the said Education Board at its office aforesaid.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 33s. per annum, including postage, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 3 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed “Public a/c,” and exchange added.
Postage or duty stamps cannot be received in payment from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are issued.
Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to prevent delay in publication, a sufficient remittance should accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be returned with receipted account.
PATENT OFFICE SUPPLEMENT.
A SPECIAL Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette is now published fortnightly, containing all notices concerning patents and trade-marks required by law to be gazetted; also, particulars of lapsed applications for patents, expired letters patent, and other information useful to inventors, manufacturers, and others. The Supplement will be issued free to subscribers to the Gazette, and to others on payment of a subscription of eleven shillings per annum, including postage, payable in advance to the Government Printer.
