UPPER ASHBURTON ROAD BOARD.
Special Order of the Upper Ashburton Road Board revoking
a Special Order declaring the Manner in which Elections
of Members of the Board shall be conducted.
RESOLVED, That the special order made by the Upper
Ashburton Road Board on the 28th day of May, 1883, and
gazetted on the 8th day of June, 1883, declaring that all
elections of members of the said Board shall be conducted
in the manner provided by section 49 of “The Road Boards
Act, 1882,” be and the same is hereby revoked.

Board, do hereby certify that the above special order has
been duly passed by the said Board under “The Road
Boards Act, 1908.”

THE following special order, made by the Cook County
Council, is published in accordance with the pro-
visions of “The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908.”

COOK COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order made on the 5th day of January, 1910;
confirmed on the 7th day of February, 1910.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Cook
County Council hereby resolves as follows; That, for the
purpose of providing the interest and other charges on
a loan of £1,600, authorised to be raised by the Cook
County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for
widening Riverside Road to 26 ft., 20 ft. to be formed and
metalled, 6 ft. to be gravelled for footpath, from borough
boundary to Mr. Simeon’s residence, and the whole road from
Simeon’s to top of saddle, near Rankin’s gate, to be re-
formed and metalled, except portion metalled two years ago,
the said Cook County Council hereby makes and levies a
a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value
of all rateable property of the Riverside Special-rating
District No. 2, comprising Sections 18, 19, 22, 25/28,
Whataupoko G; Sections 5, 6, 7, of 1F, Whataupoko; Sec-
tions 13 and 1 of 14F, Whataupoko; Sections 2 of 4, 1, 3,
of 5, and 1 of 6F, Whataupoko; Sections 15, 16, 17, and
2 of 14F, Whataupoko; Sections 3 of 6 and 7F, Whataupoko;
Section 22, 1 and 2 of 23, and Section 24F, Whataupoko;
Sections 8, 9, and 1, 2, of 10F, Whataupoko; Section 25F,
Whataupoko; Section 11F, Whataupoko; part Section 1F
Whataupoko, 1 rood 4 perches; Sections 1, 2, 3, of 12F,
Whataupoko ; Sections 17, 20, 21G, Whataupoko: and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st
day of July in each and every year during a period equal to
the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years,
or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be
3½ per cent.

Borough Council, is published in accordance with
the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.”

BOROUGH OF ONEHUNGA.
Special Order making Special Rate of 5½d. in the Pound.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance and exercise of the
powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies'
Loans Act, 1908,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Amend-
ment Act, 1908,” the following resolution was passed by the
Onehunga Borough Council; That, for the purpose of pro-
viding the interest and other charges on a loan of £550,
authorised to be raised by the Onehunga Borough Council,
under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of com-
pleting the undertakings in respect of which the loan of
£16,400 was raised—namely, for the purpose of constructing
extensions and additions to the existing waterworks in the
Borough of Onehunga—the said Onehunga Borough Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of 5½d. in the pound
upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of
all rateable property of the Borough of Onehunga; bounded
towards the north by Mount Smart Road, towards the east
by Section No. 17, Suburbs of Auckland, towards the south
by the Manukau Harbour, and towards the west by Section
No. 13, Suburbs of Auckland; and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of October
and the 1st day of April in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-nine years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.
