Public Auction.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section
of “The Land Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket,
the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
appoint Friday, the twenty-seventh day of May, one thou-
sand nine hundred and ten, as the time at which the lands
described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public
auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the
said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said
Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Level land, covered with fern and short manuka. Situ-
ated about one mile from Avondale.

Comprising about 3 acres of swamp, balance undulating
land, covered with fern and scrub; blackberries are
spreading. Light to heavy soil of good quality, on sand-
stone formation; watered by swampy spring and Waikato
River. Distant about three miles and a half from Tuakau
Railway-station by good cart-road.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this fifth day of April, one thousand nine hun-
dred and ten.

Opening Land in Auckland Land District for Sale or
Selection.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by “The Land Act, 1908,” I,
William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion
of New Zealand, having received the report of the Under-
Secretary in this behalf, as provided in section one hundred
and fifty-four of the said Act, do hereby declare that the
land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale
or selection on Monday, the twenty-seventh day of June,
one thousand nine hundred and ten; and also that the
land mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option
of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for
occupation with right of purchase or on renewable lease;
and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said land
shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said
Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said land shall be
sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provi-
sions of “The Land Act, 1908.”

SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—HOKIANGA COUNTY.—TUTAMOE
SURVEY DISTRICT.
Second - class Land.

Altitude, 1,000 ft. to 1,400 ft. above sea-level. Undulating
to broken land; patches level on spurs; all covered with
mixed forest, comprising rimu, kahikatea, totara, tawa, rata,
taraire, towai, with moderate growth of kiekie, ferns, supple-
jack; fair grass land; soil, loam and clay, on sandstone
formation; well watered by streams. Situated about forty
miles from Whangarei, thirty-four miles being formed dray-
road, four miles bridle-track, and two miles yet unformed.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this fifth day of April, one thousand nine hun-
dred and ten.
