Inspectors of Weights and Measures for certain Districts appointed.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the undermentioned persons to be Inspectors of Weights and Measures, under “The Weights and Measures Act, 1908,” for the districts set opposite their names respectively, viz.:

Special Order made by the Otamatea County Council altering Ridings and fixing Representation.

THE following special order, made by the Otamatea County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Counties Act, 1908.”

OTAMATEA COUNTY.

Special Order altering Number of Ridings within the County by the Division of Tokatoka Riding into Two Ridings, and the Fixing of Representation therein.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 23 of “The Counties Act, 1908,” the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves, by way of special order, as follows: That the number of ridings in the said County of Otamatea be increased to eight by the division of the Tokatoka Riding into two ridings, to be known as Tokatoka Riding and Ruawai Riding respectively, as set forth in the Schedule hereto, and that each one of the said two ridings shall be represented by one member. And, further, that this special order shall, for the several purposes mentioned in subsection (2) of section 25 of the said Act, come into operation and take effect as from the 31st day of March, 1911.

SCHEDULE No. 1.

Totatoka Riding.

The Tokatoka Riding shall comprise and include all that area of land lying to the north and east of the Raupo Drainage District boundary. The division-line between the
