A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and eight of “The Land Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections two hundred and eight to two hundred and twenty-two of Part V of “The Land Act, 1908,” relating to small grazing-runs.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this nineteenth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifth day of March, 1910.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required for a certain public work, to wit, a Native school:
And whereas the Native owners have agreed to make a free gift of the said land to His Majesty the King, and it has been made to appear that such agreement is sufficient for the purposes intended to be effected thereby:
And whereas by partition order of the Native Land Court, bearing date the fourteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eight, certain aboriginal Natives are declared to be the owners of the Te Huruhi No. 5E Block, within which the said land is situated:
And whereas, as required by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” a map has been prepared showing accurately the position and extent of the said land:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the land shown upon the said map, and described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for the purposes of the said Native school, and shall vest in His Majesty the King, as from the twenty-second day of April, one thousand nine hundred and ten.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of March, 1910.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the thirteenth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 11, of the twenty-first day of the same month, John Webster, of Opononi, was licensed to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Opononi, in Hokianga Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 1491, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department, at Wellington, in order to erect and maintain thereon a wharf, to be erected in accordance with plan marked M.D. 1492, and deposited as aforesaid, for the term of fourteen years, computed from the date of the said Order in Council, on the terms and conditions therein expressed:
And whereas by Order in Council dated the ninth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 4, of the twenty-third day of the same month, certain dues and rates were prescribed to be charged and taken for the use of the said wharf:
And whereas the licensee in the year one thousand nine hundred and three made application for a fresh license, and the same was granted for a term of seven years:
And whereas the said license has been, with the consent of the Minister of Marine, transferred to Messrs. Alfred Andrewes, George Andrewes, Frank Andrewes, and Arthur Edmund Andrewes, trading under the style or title of “A. S. Andrewes and Sons” (hereinafter called “the licensees”):
And whereas the licensees have applied for a fresh license under “The Harbours Act, 1908” (hereinafter called “the said Act”), for a term of seven years, and it is advisable to grant the same, and to prescribe the dues and rates which shall be charged and taken for the use of the said wharf:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the purpose or object for which the said license is required by the licensees as aforesaid; and, in further pursuance and exercise of the said power and authority, and with the like advice and consent as aforesaid, doth hereby license and permit the licensees to use and occupy that part of the foreshore and of the land below low-water mark immediately contiguous thereto which is particularly shown and delineated on the plans so deposited as aforesaid, for the purpose of using the aforesaid wharf in connection therewith, such license to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the First Schedule hereto; and doth hereby prescribe that the dues and rates set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, on and after the date of publication of this Order in Council in the New Zealand Gazette, shall be taken by the licensees for the use of the said wharf.
The Order in Council licensing John Webster to occupy the foreshore and land below low-water mark, dated the twentieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 31, of the twenty-fourth day of the same month, is hereby revoked.
