Every person who neglects or refuses for the space of one month after the second application to furnish the information required under any of the provisions of this Act is liable to a fine not exceeding twenty pounds, and every person who furnishes such information knowing it to be false is liable to a similar fine.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of March, 1910.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

PURSUANT to and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred upon him by “The Shops and Offices Act, 1908” (hereinafter called “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations, that is to say:—

  1. The notice of appeal under section 34 of the said Act from a requisition of an Inspector shall be in the form S. and O./1A in the Schedule hereto, or to the like effect.

  2. The notice by the Clerk of the Court to the parties of the time for the hearing of such appeal shall be in the form S. and O./1B in the Schedule hereto, or to the like effect.
