Notice of Acceptance of Complete Specifications.

Wellington, 9th March, 1910.

COMPLETE specifications relating to the undermentioned applications for Letters Patent have been accepted, and are open to public inspection at this office. Any person may, at any time within two months from the date of this Gazette, give me notice in writing of opposition to the grant of any such patent. Such notice must set forth the particular grounds of objection, and be in duplicate. A fee of 10s. is payable thereon.

The copies of claims and extracts from the specifications and drawings are merely intended to give some further indication of the invention than is disclosed in the title, and the complete specifications and drawings should be referred to for a description of the invention.

No. 25767.—31st March, 1909.—ALBERT JACOB BERT, of 50 Macleay Street, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, Gentleman (assignee of Cecil Julius Bert, of 8 Royal Arcade, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, Traveller). An improved method of advertising.*

Claim.—The improved method of advertising for use on billiard and other such tables consisting of advertising-matter inserted into recesses or slots formed uniformly or otherwise around and in the cushion cap or caps or equivalents of the table, said advertisements being conveniently covered with sheets of plate glass, substantially as described.

Extract from Specification.—My invention consists essentially in the use of the alkalies and alkaline earths in conjunction with carbonaceous material in the reduction of ores; and incidentally also includes certain other features.

Claims.—(1.) A game of the class described, characterized by a course extending from a starting-point on the outermost of a series of concentric circles to a finishing-point at the common centre of all the circles, substantially as described. . . . (5.) In a game of the class described, a scoring-apparatus comprising a tray having a plurality of numbered porches at one end thereof and a biassed marble adapted to be rolled along said tray when inclined towards said porches, substantially as described.
