A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of “The Land Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owners and of the mortgagees of the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, and of the Raglan County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Karioi Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Paroa Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this thirtieth day of December, 1909.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-ninth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and nine, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

to be the Paroa Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the twelfth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and ten, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the residence of William Hewlett, on the Greymouth–Paroa Road at South Beach, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

PAROA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in Grey County, Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres and 6 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 1061, Block XVI, Greymouth Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a residence-area, 400 links; towards the east by the Kunara–Greymouth Road, 760 links; towards the south by a road, 400 links; and towards the west by Beach Road, 760 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5277/1B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Boundaries of Borough of Petone altered. — Amending Description.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of February, 1910.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council made under “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” dated the seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the tenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and nine, a certain area of land was included in the Borough of Petone:

And whereas the said area was not correctly described in the Schedule to the said Order in Council, and it is therefore expedient to amend such Order:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the said “Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the area to be added to the Borough of Petone by the herein-before-mentioned Order in Council of the seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and nine, shall be the area described in the Schedule hereto, in lieu of the area described in the said recited Order in Council, and the said Order in Council is hereby amended accordingly.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, being part of Original Section No. 10, Block XIII, Belmont Survey District, and a public road. Bounded towards the north-east and east generally by the existing western channel of the
