Special Order made by the Mount Albert Road Board, County of Eden.

THE following special order, made by the Mount Albert Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Road Boards Act, 1908.

MOUNT ALBERT ROAD BOARD.
Special Order passed at a Special Meeting held at the Office of the Board, New North Road, Morningside, 24th October, 1910; confirmed at a Special Meeting held at the Board’s Office, 21st November, 1910.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Mount Albert Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £30,000, authorized to be raised by the Mount Albert Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the following purposes:—
(a.) Extension of water-supply and construction of new reservoir … … … £ 9,230

the said Mount Albert Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Mount Albert Road District, comprising the whole of such district; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of June and the 31st day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE following special order, made by the Moa Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Road Boards Act, 1908.

MOA ROAD BOARD.
Special Order in re £300 Loan for Bristol Road West.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, the Moa Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £300, authorized to be raised by consent of the ratepayers interested, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of continuing the forming and metalling on the Bristol Road on the west side of the Manganui River, the said Moa Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 7/32 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Bristol Road West No. 2 Special Rating District, comprising Sections 10 (in two subdivisions), 11, 12, 15, 17, 16 (in two subdivisions), 14, Block XIII, Waitara Survey District; Sections 56, 57, 17, 26, 27, 16, 14, 15, 13, 12, 11, 3, 2, 1, 25, 24, half of part 23, Block I, Huiroa Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, and the interest and sinking fund to be paid at the rate of 4⅔ per centum per annum, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above special order was duly passed in accordance with the Road Boards Act, 1908, at a special meeting of the Moa Road Board held on the 13th day of August, 1910, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the said Board held on the 17th day of September, 1910.

THE following special order, made by the Timaru Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

TIMARU BOROUGH COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of all powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Timaru Borough Loans Consolidation Act, 1909, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1908 (which two Acts last mentioned are incorporated with the Timaru Borough Loans Consolidation Act, 1909, where not inconsistent therewith), and in exercise of all other powers and authorities the Council thereunto enabling, the Council of the Borough of Timaru hereby resolves: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £6,000 (being portion of the scheduled loans to the Timaru Borough Loans Consolidation Act, 1909) for the formation of certain streets to adopted levels, in order to enable the Council to complete drainage and necessary sanitary work, which said loan of £6,000 has been authorized to be raised by the Timaru Borough Council, under the before-mentioned Acts, and has been granted by the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Board to the said Council under Part IV of the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, and the regulations made thereunder, the Timaru Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound sterling upon the annual rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Timaru, comprising the whole of the Borough of Timaru; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of June and the 31st day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and six months, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Made by special order passed at a special meeting of the Council of the Borough of Timaru held on the 24th day of October, 1910, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the said Council held on the 28th day of November, 1910.
