SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by
admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 18 perches, more or less,
being Allotment 1A, part of Section No. 60, Block VII,
Moeraki Survey District. Bounded towards the north
by part Section 60, Block VII, Moeraki Survey District,
161·2 links; towards the east by part of said Section 60,
2130·8 links; towards the south by Section 67, Block VII
aforesaid, 145·3 links; and towards the west by the
Palmerston-Dunback Road, 2082·3 links: be all the afore-
said linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on
the plan marked L. 7158/21, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered
red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-fifth day of November, one thousand

Opening Land in Wellington Land District for Sale on
Selection.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, John
Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of
the Dominion of New Zealand, having received the report of
the Under-Secretary in this behalf, as provided by section
one hundred and fifty-four of the said Act, do hereby declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open
for sale or selection on Wednesday, the first day of Febru-
ary, one thousand nine hundred and eleven; and also
that the land mentioned in the said Schedule may, at
the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be
selected for occupation with right of purchase, or on renew-
able lease; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the
said land shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in
the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said land
shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the
provisions of the Land Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—PATEA COUNTY.—NUKUMARU
SURVEY DISTRICT.

Second-class Land.

• Interest and sinking fund on improvements, comprising felling
  and grassing, valued at £134, repayable in seven years by half-
  yearly instalments of £11 11s. 7d. Total half-yearly payment:
  Occupation with right of purchase, £136 11s. 7d.; renewable lease,
  £111 11s. 7d.

Situated in the Rangitatau Block in the Waitotara Valley.
Access is from Waitotara, which is about thirteen miles
distant by Puao Road, which is formed for dray traffic to
the opposite side of the river. The river affords an additional
means of access, as it is navigable for canoes and launches of
light draught generally throughout the year. The section
comprises hilly and undulating land, with sufficient flat on
banks of Waitotara River for homestead and home paddocks.
The soil is of good quality, on papa and sandstone formation.
The forest is medium heavy, comprising tawa, hinau, rewa-
rewa, tawai, rimu, &c., with usual undergrowth. The
section is well watered by streams and the Waitotara River.
The elevation ranges from about 50 ft. to 1,050 ft. above
sea-level.

Notifying Lands in Auckland Land District for Sale by
Public Auction.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section
of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder,
Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the twentieth day of
January, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, as the
time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto
shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the
prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those men-
tioned in the said Schedule hereto.
