Adjustment of Loans between Taranaki County Council, the Waitara Borough Council, and the Fitzroy Town Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of November, 1910.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section ninety-one of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that where part of the area over which a special rate is made as security for a loan is merged or included within the district of a local authority other than the local authority that made the rate, then, upon the written application of the local authority that raised the loan, or of the Minister of Finance, the Governor in Council may adjust or apportion the liability in respect of such loan among the respective local authorities affected by such merger or inclusion: And whereas certain loans, amounting to eleven thousand two hundred pounds, for the reconstruction of bridges on roads under the jurisdiction of the Taranaki County Council, were raised by that County Council under the provisions of the said Act or of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901, relating to the levy of a bridge rate and the raising of loans for the renewal of bridges: And whereas parts of the area over which the special bridge rate was made as security for those loans were included in the Fitzroy Town District and the Waitara Borough respectively: And whereas the inscribed amount of the said loans is eleven thousand four hundred and sixty-five pounds twelve shillings: And whereas the notices of the proposed apportionment of the said liability of eleven thousand four hundred and sixty-five pounds twelve shillings in respect of the said loans between the Taranaki County Council, the Waitara Borough Council, and the Fitzroy Town Board were duly given as required by the said section ninety-one, and the regulations under the said Act, and no objections thereto have been received: And whereas written application has been made by the Taranaki County Council that the said liability of eleven thousand four hundred and sixty-five pounds twelve shillings in respect of the said loans may be apportioned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby apportion the liability of eleven thousand four hundred and sixty-five pounds twelve shillings in respect of the above-recited loans as follows: The sum of ten thousand two hundred and sixty pounds twelve shillings shall be a liability of the Taranaki County Council, the sum of eight hundred and fourteen pounds shall be a liability of the Fitzroy Town Board, and the sum of three hundred and ninety-one pounds shall be a liability of the Council of the Borough of Waitara.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be the Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the fifteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the seventeenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eight, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
THE PICTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
to be the Waitohi Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the eleventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Borough Council office, Picton, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
WAITOHI DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 15 acres 1 rood 15 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 1150 and 1161, Town of Picton. Bounded towards the north by part Reserve D, 1699·4 links; towards the east by Section 1162, 371·6 links, and by Market Quay, 526·5 links; towards the south by Dublin Street, 1789·5 links; and towards the west by high-water mark along Shakespeare Road: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 38854, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of November, 1910.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection (2) of section two of the Gonville and Castlecliff Tramway District Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is, among other things, enacted that the Governor may from time to time, upon the petition of the majority of the ratepayers of any portion of a town district, by Order in Council direct that such portion shall thenceforth be incorporated with and form part of the Gonville and Castlecliff Tramway District:
And whereas in pursuance of the said section a petition has been presented to the Governor by the majority of the ratepayers resident in that portion of the Gonville Town District described in the Schedule hereto:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to direct that the area described in the said Schedule shall be incorporated with and form part of the said tramway district:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that the portion of the Gonville Town District described in the Schedule hereto shall henceforth be incorporated with and form part of the said Gonville and Castlecliff Tramway District.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing approximately 158 acres. Bounded by a line commencing at the north-west corner of the land delineated in Land Transfer Plan No. A/2416; thence along the northern boundary of the land shown on that plan to King’s Avenue; thence to the south-west corner of Lot 50, Gonville Township; thence along the south-east boundaries of Lots 50 and 49 to the western side of Caius Avenue; thence along the south-west side of Caius Avenue for 12 chains; thence across Caius Avenue to the south-east corner of Lot 67, Gonville Township; thence along the south-east and north-east boundaries of Lot 67 to the south corner of Lot 35, and by the south-east boundary of Section 35 to Gonville Avenue; thence in a south-easterly direction 4 chains along the south side of Gonville Avenue; thence across Gonville Avenue to the south corner of Lot 32, Ngaio Range Extension Township; thence in a
