1908,” in exchange for the fee-simple of any other land which in his opinion is of approximately equal value, and that all land acquired by the Crown by any such exchange shall become Crown land and be subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1908”:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to exchange the Crown land described in the first column of the Schedule hereto for the land described in the second column of the said Schedule, and the owners of the land described in the second column of the said Schedule have agreed to such exchange:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said section one hundred and forty-two, doth hereby declare that it is his intention to grant in fee-simple the area of Crown land described in the first column of the Schedule hereto in exchange for the fee-simple of the area of land described in the second column of the said Schedule.

Land temporarily reserved for a Resting-place for Travelling Stock in the Hawke’s Bay Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for a resting-place for travelling stock.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 1 rood 16 perches, more or less, being Section No. 2, Block XVI, Puketapu Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 1, Block XVI, Puketapu Survey District; towards the east by a public road; towards the south by Crown land; and towards the west by a road reserve: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5388/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

Bounded towards the north-west by the Invercargill-Kingston Railway, 9220 links; towards the south-east generally by Pastoral Run No. 323A, 6000 and 3350 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5387/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Reserve No. 3810 (in red), formerly part of Section No. 7, Highbank Village, situated in Block II, Corwar Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west and north-east by Section No. 7, Highbank Village, 250 links and 100 links respectively; towards the south-east by Section No. 29, Highbank Settlement, 250 links; and towards the south-west by a public road, 100 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 7417/6, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
