Notices of Requests to amend Specifications.

REQUESTS for leave to amend the undermentioned applications for Letters Patent have been received, and are open to public inspection at this office. Any person may, at any time from one month from the date of this Gazette, give me notice in writing of opposition to the amendments. Such notice must set forth the particular grounds of objection, and be in duplicate. A fee of 10s. is payable thereon.
No. 25866.—G. Scott.—Manufacture of confectionery centres. (Advertised in Supplement to New Zealand Gazette, No. 66, of the 12th August, 1909.)
The nature of the proposed amendments is as follows :—
(1.) To insert the words “what are known to sweetmeat manufacturers as” after the word “to,” line 1, page 2, and the words “or confection bodies, which bodies are usually” after the word “centres,” line 1, page 2; and to strike out the word “and,” line 2, page 2.
(2.) To insert “the invention” before “provides,” line 2, page 2; to strike out “thereof,” line 3, page 2; and to insert after “manufacture,” line 3, page 2, the following: “of such bodies whereby the cost of production is reduced while the quality of the confection is improved.”
