NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land is open for selection on renewable lease, and applications will be received at this office up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Tuesday, the 21st day of December, 1909, under the provisions of “The Land Act, 1908,” and “The Land for Settlements Act, 1908.”

First-class Land.

Weighted with £57 8s., valuation for improvements, comprising 28 chains of fencing and a two-roomed house.

Situated on the western side of the Haringa Road, access being from Carterton Railway-station, which is about four miles distant by three miles and a quarter of metalled dray-road, and three-quarters of a mile of formed dray-road. About 8 acres hilly, 23-acres swamp, and the remainder flat. All the bush has been felled, and the land sown in grass. The soil is of good quality, on clay and shingle formation; indifferently watered. The elevation ranges from about 400 ft. to 500 ft. above sea-level. Improvements, consisting of fencing, are included in the price of the land.

The owners of buildings will be allowed two months in which to remove or otherwise dispose of them. The right to use the trolley-lines is reserved until the expiry of existing timber-cutting rights.

Situated one mile and a quarter from the Piripiri Railway-station. The improvements, included in the price of the land, comprise 45 chains of fencing (main road). The owner of buildings will be allowed two months in which to remove or otherwise dispose of them.
