NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land is open for selection on renewable lease, and applications will be received at this office up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Tuesday, the 21st day of December, 1909, under the provisions of “The Land Act, 1908,” and “The Land for Settlements Act, 1908.”

Situated on the western side of the Haringa Road, access being from Carterton Railway-station, which is about four miles distant by three miles and a quarter of metalled dray-road, and three-quarters of a mile of formed dray-road. About 8 acres hilly, 23-acres swamp, and the remainder flat. All the bush has been felled, and the land sown in grass. The soil is of good quality, on clay and shingle formation; indifferently watered. The elevation ranges from about 400 ft. to 500 ft. above sea-level. Improvements, consisting of fencing, are included in the price of the land.
