No. 26766.—11th November, 1908.—ANDREW LOUGHNAN, of 408 Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, Commission Agent. An improved collapsible wardrobe.
[NOTE.—This is an application under the International and Inter-colonial Arrangements, the date given being the official date of the application in Australia.]
Claims.—(1.) For the purpose indicated, the combination of two frames hinged together and a roof-piece hinged to and supported by the frames, means in the roof upon which clothes can be hung, and a curtain-rod suspended between the frames, as described and illustrated. (2.) For the purpose indicated, the combination of three frames that are hinged together and a roof-piece hinged to the back frame and supported upon the side frames, depending hooks in the roof, and a curtain-rod suspended between the side frames, as described and set forth. (3.) The general arrangement, construction, and combination of parts as specified, and operating in the manner and for the purposes set forth.

No. 26787.—22nd October, 1909.—ALFRED LEAF, of Mata-kohe, Auckland, New Zealand, Millwright. Means for rendering lift-shafts draught-proof and freer from danger.
Claims.—(1.) In means for rendering lift-shafts draught-proof and freer from danger, the fitting the two doors by hinges to the floors of the building within the shaft guide-bars so that they will rest in grooves and on ledge-formations provided in the floors, attaching the lower ends of rods to said two doors, swingingly connecting upper ends of said rods to lower ends of cams, said cams being fulcrumed to said shaft guide-bars, and recessing said shaft guide-bars for said doors to recede into, in the manner and for the purpose set forth, as described and illustrated. (2.) In means for rendering lift-shafts draught-proof and freer from danger specified, the two doors hinged to floors and fitted to be operated in the manner and for the purpose set forth, as described and illustrated. (3.) In means for rendering lift-shafts draught-proof and freer from danger, the arched upward projection fitted to cage in the manner and for the purpose set forth, as described and illustrated. (4.) The application, arrangement, and combination of the different parts specified, in the manner and for the purpose set forth, as described and illustrated.
