MOTUEKA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Motueka proposes, under the provisions of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” and “The Public Works Act, 1908,” to execute a public work—namely, to widen a public road or street, to wit, Greenwood Street, in the said borough—and for the purposes of such public work the land specified in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.

Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required is deposited in the public office of the Motueka Borough Council, situate in High Street, Motueka, and is open for inspection without fee during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected are called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections they may have to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the said Council, addressed to me at the office aforesaid.

RE SWEEPALL BROOM COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above company, held at the office of Mr. W. W. Bruce, Swanson Street, Auckland, on the 30th day of September, 1909, the following resolution was passed:—

“That the above company go into voluntary liquidation, and that the company be wound up; and that Messrs. A. H. Tompkins and W. W. Bruce be appointed Liquidators.”

And that at an extraordinary general meeting held on the 28th day of October, 1909, the said resolution was duly confirmed.
