PARIHAKA ROAD DISTRICT.
Special Order.—Newall Road 10-per-cent. Loan.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Parihaka Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £60, authorised to be raised by the Parihaka Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, being 10 per cent. additional to a loan of £600 previously raised for the purpose of forming, draining, culverting, and metalling the Newall Road from the end of the present metalling, opposite Sections 8 and 10, for about 90 chains onward, to opposite Sections 1 and 3, Block XV, Cape Survey District, the said Parihaka Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1¼d. in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property of the Newall Road Loan No. II Special-rating Area, comprising Sections 8, 9, 10, Block X; 10, 11, 12, Block XIV; and 1, 2, 3, Block XV, Cape Survey District, in the Warea Ward of the said Parihaka Road District: and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that this special order was duly passed in accordance with “The Road Boards Act, 1908.”

THE following special order, made by the Wainono Drainage Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.”

WAINONO DRAINAGE BOARD.
In the matter of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” “The Land Drainage Act, 1908,” and “The Rating Act, 1908,” and the Acts amending the same respectively.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Wainono Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,300 (the rate of interest being at the rate of £4 10s. per centum per annum), authorised to be raised by the Wainono Drainage Board, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of rebuilding main outlet culvert from Waihao River to the sea, the said Wainono Drainage Board hereby makes and levies upon all property rateable for the purposes of “The Land Drainage Act, 1908,” of the Wainono Drainage District, comprising the land described in the Schedule to Order in Council of the 26th day of October, 1896, constituting the said district, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 82 of 1896, at page 1787, a special rate of 1¼d. in the pound on all land in the said district classified, under the provisions of “The Land Drainage Act, 1908,” as first-class land for the purposes of such Act, 1d. in the pound on all land in the said district classified as aforesaid as second-class land for the purposes aforesaid, and ¾d. in the pound on all land in the said district classified as aforesaid as third-class land for the purposes aforesaid; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I, George Hunter, Chairman of the Wainono Drainage Board, hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Wainono Drainage Board on the 14th September, 1909, and confirmed on the 16th October, 1909.

PATEA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Patea County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,800, authorised to be raised by the Patea County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of re-erecting old bridges, erecting new bridges, and replacing others with fillings on road in Kapara Riding known as Waitotara Valley Road, the said Patea County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅓d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the Ngamatapouri Special-rating District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

ASHBURTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Ashburton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of securing the repayment of and providing the interest and other charges on a special loan of £15,000, authorised to be raised by the Ashburton Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of constructing waterworks for the supply of pure water for the use of the inhabitants of the Borough of Ashburton, the said Ashburton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 7d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Ashburton, comprising the whole of the Borough of Ashburton, as set out in the Proclamation creating the said borough in the New Zealand Gazette of the 30th day of July, 1878; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and until repayment thereof, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
