Amendments to Regulations re Commissions in British Army.

THE following amendments, made by Army Order No. 219 of 1909, to the Regulations under which Commissions in the British Army may be obtained by University Candidates and Officers of Colonial Military Forces, are republished for general information.

Commissions in the Army.—The following amendments will be made to the syllabus of subjects for a leaving-certificate, and for the qualifying examination in Appendix II of the following regulations:—
(a.) Regulations under which commissions in the British army may be obtained by officers of colonial military forces, issued with Army Order No. 164 of 1907.
(b.) Regulations under which commissions in the army may be obtained by university candidates, issued with Army Order No. 191 of 1907.
Under “Elementary Mathematics, Practical Measurements”: In line 4, after “dimensions,” insert “(rectilinear figures, circles),” and in line 6, after “dimensions,” insert “(solids bounded by not more than six plane faces, spheres, right circular cones).”
