Land proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Block II,
Ohika Survey District, Buller County.

A P R O C L A M A T I O N.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by
the Public Works Act, 1908, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket,
Governor of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land mentioned in the
First Schedule hereto, and of the
closure of which road the land mentioned in the Second
Schedule hereto is hereby proclaimed ; and I do also proclaim as
Crown land the land mentioned in the First
Schedule hereto, and also the land mentioned in the Second Schedule
hereto, to be Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act,
1908 : and I do also proclaim as closed the road described in the
Second Schedule hereto, and do also proclaim by reason of
the road described in the First Schedule hereto.

more particularly delineated on the plan marked and
numbered P.W.D. 9435, and deposited in the office
of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the
Wellington Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight
Commander of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Go
vernor and Commander-in-Chief in and for
His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its
Dependencies; and under the Seal of the
said Dominion, at the Government House, at
Wellington, this ninth day of October, in the
year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and
nine.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth
day of September, 1909.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS a petition has been presented to the Go
vernor by more than one-half of the whole number of
the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, praying for the
vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough
of Wanganui the powers of a Road Board within the boundaries
hereof : And whereas a notice showing the proposed altera
tion of boundaries of the Borough aforesaid was gazetted
and publicly notified, and objections in writing against such
alteration were received : And whereas it is expedient that
such fully considered, and it is expedient to make
the alteration prayed for in the said petition.
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the powers
and authorities vested in him by The Municipal Corpora
tions Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby declare that on the first day of Novem
ber, one thousand nine hundred and nine, the area
described in the Schedule hereto shall be included in the said
Borough of Wanganui.

ERRATUM.—In the Warrant published in the New Zealand Gazette of 23rd September, 1909, page 2398, respecting

site for the disposal of nightsoil or refuse at Mataura, for “Section 5 of part of Section 54” read “Section 5 and
part of Section 54.”
