THE HUTT VALLEY FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE MILK-SUPPLY COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary special general meeting of the Hutt Valley Farmers' Co-operative Milk-supply Company (Limited), held on Tuesday, 10th August, 1909, at which the whole of the shareholders were present, it was resolved, on the motion of John Whiteman, seconded by Edward Wenham, "That the Hutt Valley Farmers' Co-operative Milk-supply Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily in terms of subsection (b) of section 220 of "The Companies Act, 1908." And it was further resolved, on the motion of Thomas Lawrence Burrell, seconded by Arthur Edward Cottle, "That Messrs. McCurdy, Benge, A. B. Cottle, F. Whiteman, jun., F. Whiteman, sen., and J. Whiteman—the company's Board of Directors—be the Liquidators appointed under subsection (a), section 224, of "The Companies Act, 1908." All claims against the company must be rendered in duplicate before Thursday, 30th September, 1909, and addressed to the Liquidators, the Hutt Valley Farmers' Co-operative Milk-supply Company (Limited), Box 1, Upper Hutt.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between us, the undersigned, GEORGE WALLER, of Rangitata, and JOHN WILLIAM HAMMOND, of Hilton, in the trade or business of Chaff-cutters is this day dissolved by mutual consent.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between ARTHUR FAULKNER and JAMES McDONALD, under the style of "Faulkner and McDonald," of Wharekopae, Sawmillers, is this day dissolved by mutual consent. Accounts owing by the partnership should be rendered to the said Arthur Faulkner, to whom all moneys owing to the partnership should be paid.

ROBERT WILBERFOSS, of Wellington, Auditor; CHARLES DUNK, of Palmerston North, Retired Farmer; and JOHN JOHNSTON REICH, Accountant, Wellington, be and they are hereby appointed the joint Liquidators for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the company and distributing its assets. SCHOOL FOR DEAF-MUTES, SUMNER, NEAR CHRISTCHURCH.

FOR Deaf Children of sound intellect. The pupils are taught to use and understand ordinary speech. The full charge for board and education is £40 a year, but less is accepted from parents who cannot afford to pay this amount. In case of necessity admission is free.
By the Education Act, the education of deaf children between the ages of 7 and 16 is made compulsory. A child is, as a rule, best fitted to begin the school course at about the age of 6, but advice should be obtained as soon as any sign of deafness is observed.
The following classes of deaf children are admitted:
- Children born deaf, or who have lost their hearing before learning to speak.
- Children who can hear a little, but are too deaf to be taught in an ordinary school.
- Children who have lost their hearing after having learned to speak.
Parents and other persons acquainted with such cases above the age of 4 are invited to communicate with the Director, or with
