THE following special order, made by the Tataraimaka Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1908.”

TATARAIMAKA ROAD BOARD.
Special Order making Special Rate.—Upper Pitone Road. —10-per-cent. Loan, £150.
RESOLVED, That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act and its amendments, the Tataraimaka Road Board hereby, by way of special order, resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £150 (such loan being 10 per cent. of the original £1,500 loan), authorised to be raised by the Tataraimaka Road Board, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1903,” for the purpose of metalling the Upper Pitone Road for a further distance of 19 chains, the said Tataraimaka Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the Pitone Road Special-rating District, as defined by special order for the original loan of £1,500, made on the 30th day of October, 1905; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act Amendment Act, 1908,” and “The Public Health Act, 1908,” and all other Acts, powers, or authorities (if any) vested in it or in anywise enabling it in that behalf, the Miramar Borough Council doth hereby resolve (by special order) as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a special loan of £3,000, authorised to be raised by the Miramar Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of purchasing or otherwise acquiring all that piece of land situate in the Borough of Miramar, containing 3 acres 3 roods 39 perches, more or less, being Lots 2, 3, and 4 on deposited plan No. 1808, Land Transfer Office, Wellington, of part of Section 13, Watts Peninsula, and being the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 159, folio 96, which said land is required by the Council as a site for the construction of refuse-destroying works or other sanitary works necessary for
