Order under Section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894.”
IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT OF NEW ZEALAND, AUCKLAND DISTRICT.
In the matter of a reference by the Chief Judge of the said Court under section 49 of “The Native Land Laws Amendment Act, 1895,” with respect to the order appointing successors to Arapeta Putiki, deceased, in Takaputahi Block.
WHEREAS the above matter has been referred to the Native Land Court for inquiry and report, and the same has been duly reported upon: And whereas it is found that the order appointing successors to Arapeta Putiki in Takaputahi Block was made in error:
Now, therefore, for the purpose of rectifying the said error, and in exercise of the power in that behalf vested in me by section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” I hereby order that the succession order dated the 26th day of September, 1907, appointing successors to the interest of Arapeta Putiki be and the same is hereby cancelled.

Order for Incorporation of the Owners of the Tuawhatu No. 2b1b Block.
IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT OF NEW ZEALAND, GISBORNE DISTRICT.
In the matter of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” and its amendments, and of the petition for incorporation by the owners of the Tuawhatu No. 2B1B Block. At a sitting of the Court held at Gisborne, before Robert Noble Jones, Judge, and Rawiri Karaha, Assessor, on Saturday, the 7th day of August, 1909.
UPON reading the petition for incorporation lodged herein, and upon hearing the petitioners, and the evidence adduced on their behalf, and the Court being satisfied of the consent of the majority of the owners of the said Tuawhatu No. 2B1B Block, and that such block can be dealt with to the advantage of the owners thereof by being incorporated as hereinafter appearing, it is ordered that the owners whose names are set out in the Schedule hereunder written shall be and the same are hereby constituted a body corporate within the meaning of section 122 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” by the name of “The Proprietors of the Tuawhatu No. 2B1B Block,” subject to the powers, liabilities, and incidents conferred or imposed by the said Act or any amendments thereof. The said land contains 331 acres 2 roods 22 perches or thereabouts, and is bounded as follows: Towards the north by Tuawhatu No. 2B1A Block, towards the east by Puatai Block, towards the south by Mokairau No. 2 Block, and towards the west by Tuawhatu 1B2 No. 1 Block.
And it is hereby ordered and directed that a general meeting of the proprietors of the said block shall be held at Hauiti, on Saturday, the 11th day of September, 1909, at the hour of 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of nominating a committee to administer the said land, and fixing the number of its members.
And it is hereby further ordered that the committee shall have full power to defray the reasonable costs and expenses consequent upon this incorporation or incidental thereto, and that the title to the said land hereby vested in the corporate body above named shall be subject to all existing rights, alienations, encumbrances, and contracts affecting the same or any interest therein.

NOTICE having been lodged with me by Te Kotuhi Taiapo te Waiatua, of Rotorua, that she has taken Raiha Ratete, a child of Wiremu Ratete, and Kataraina te Ranginohoora, to be her adopted child, and a certificate by a Judge of the Native Land Court, as required by Regulation No. 7, having been received, it is hereby notified that the said notice of adoption has been duly filed and registered.
