SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate
of 32s. 6d. per annum, including postage, PAYABLE IN
ADVANCE. No subscriptions less than three months can be sub-
scribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line
for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and
subsequent insertions.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged
23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on THURSDAY
EVENING in each week, and notices for insertion must be
received by the Government Printer before 2 o'clock of
the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, and marked "For the Gazette." They
should be made payable by cheques crossed
"Public Account" and "Not Negotiable."
Postage or duty stamps cannot be received in payment
from places where postal-notes or money-orders are easily
issued.
Payment may be demanded in any case. In order to
prevent delay in publication, a sufficient remittance should
accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be re-
turned with receipted account.

PATENT OFFICE SUPPLEMENT.
A SPECIAL Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette
is now published fortnightly, containing all notices
concerning patents and trade-marks, compiled by and at
the expense of the "particulars for patent applications for
patents, expired letters patent, and other proprietary
rights" of inventors, manufacturers, and others. This
Supplement will be issued free to subscribers to the
"Gazette," or for a subscription of 10s. per annum. Eleven
shillings per annum, including postage, payable in
advance to the Government Printer.
