Names of Trustees. Name of Public Cemetery, and Description of Land.
John McCaw, John William Simpson, Joseph Pohlen, Robert Thomson Abbot, and Joseph Price. MATAMATA. All that area in Matamata County, Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section No. 112a, Block II, Tapapa Survey District (Matamata Settlement). Bounded towards the north-east by a public road; towards the south-east by Section No. 109, Block II, Tapapa Survey District; and towards the south-west and north-west by Section No. 112 of said Block II: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1593/4, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

Trustee for the Nuhaka North Public Cemetery appointed.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

CHARLES ENOCH KIRK

to be a Trustee, in the place of William Alfred McKain, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Nuhaka North Public Cemetery, in conjunction with James Austin, Nathaniel McIntyre, James Riddell, and William Tait, previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

ALFRED ALLEN

to be a Trustee to provide for the maintenance and care of the Wairoa Public Cemetery, in conjunction with George Britnell, Thomas Lambert, Joseph Powdrell, George Mayo, and John Joseph Parker, previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

Land temporarily reserved for a Site for a Public School in the Auckland Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunto written, for a site for a public school.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section No. 1B, Block III, Tapapa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Te Aroha Road, 755·8 links; towards the south by Matamata Road, 623·4 links; and towards the north-west by Section No. 1, Block III, Tapapa Survey District, aforesaid, 679·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5332/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

Lands temporarily reserved in the Nelson Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Nelson Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 7, Block IV, Steeples Survey District—a rectangular block of land the south-west corner of which is distant 2140 links in an easterly direction from the south-west corner of Section No. 8 of the said block, measured along the Waimea Road, and bounded towards the west, north, and east by the said Section No. 8, 833·4 links, 600 links, and 833·4 links respectively; and towards the south by the Waimea Road, 600 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5313/3A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For gravel purposes.

All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 9, Block IV, Steeples Survey District—a rectangular block of land the south-west corner of which is distant 3049·4 links in a north-easterly direction along the north-western side of the Pakihi Road from the southernmost corner of Section No. 10 of the before-mentioned Block IV, and bounded towards the south-west, north-west, and north-east by the said Section No. 10, 833·4 links, 600 links, and 833·4 links respectively; and towards the south-east by Pakihi Road, 600 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5313/3B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For gravel purposes.

All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 23, Block I, Kawatiri Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by York Street, Town of Waimangaroa, 1000 links; towards the south-east by the Fairdown–Waimangaroa Road, 500 links; and towards the south-west and north-west by Section No. 16 of the before-mentioned Block I, 1000 links and 500 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5313/3C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For gravel purposes.
