through Crown lands and freehold (said Section 3) property
of Applicant.

Length and intended course of race: Approximate length,
four miles and a half; south-west, north-west, and south.
Points of intake: Lindis River.
Estimated time and cost of construction: Twelve months;
£500.
Mean depth and breadth: 6 ft. wide, 3 ft. deep.
Number of heads to be diverted: Twelve.
Purpose for which water is to be used: Irrigation.
Proposed term of license: Forty-two years.

PURSUANT to “The Mining Act, 1908,” the under-
signed, (Captain) Frederick John Dalgety, of London,
Runholder, hereby applies for a license for a water-race as
specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has
been duly marked out for the purpose.

60 chains; running west and south-west.
Points of intake: Waiwera Creek.
Estimated time and cost of construction: Six months;
