John Warren, of Gisborne,
to be the person to make up electors' roll for the Ridings of Motu, Kanakanaia, Karaka, Ngatapa, Mangatu, and Waipaoa, in the County of Waikohu, as constituted by "The Counties Act, 1908," and "The Waikohu County Act, 1908"; also to be Returning Officer to conduct the first election of members of the Council of the said county, and to be the Clerk of the Council of the said county for the purpose of presiding at the first meeting thereof.

THAT this Board intends to form a special district, to be called Special District No. 9, comprising Sections Nos. 1 to 36, 40 to 55, 57 to 69, 71 to 81, of Otaki Extension, Waerenga 7A, 2 acres 1 rood 16 perches; part Waerenga 7A No. 1, 1 acre and 20 perches; part Pahianui No. 3, 3 acres 2 roods 23 perches; part Pahianui No. 4, 2 acres 2 roods 27 perches; part Pahianui No. 8, 1 acre, the same being within the Otaki Road District, for the purpose of raising a loan of Β£200, under "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908," and its amendment, for the metalling and forming footpaths of Kirk, Bell, and Lemon Streets, the same being within the Special District No. 9, and for the striking of a special rate to pay interest on the said loan.
