A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by the fifth section of “The Land Act, 1908,” and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke a Proclamation dated the sixteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eighteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and four, setting apart lands for Mangapapa Improved-farm Special Settlement, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 17, Block XII (formerly part of Section 8, Block XII), Aria Survey District: Area, 1 acre and 17 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nine.

Revoking Proclamation of Buildings as a Lunatic Asylum.

PLUNKET, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by Proclamation of the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eight,
the building known as the Hospital and Surgery of His Majesty’s Prison at Lyttelton, in the Provincial District of Canterbury, and by Proclamation of the sixth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eight, the building known as “the separate cells,” situated on the north side of the said prison at Lyttelton, were respectively proclaimed to be a “lunatic asylum” within the meaning of “The Lunatics Act, 1882”: And whereas the said buildings are no longer required for the purpose of a lunatic asylum:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby declare that the said buildings so proclaimed shall cease to be used as a lunatic asylum.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three of “The Maori Councils Act, 1900,” it is provided that the Governor may proclaim any district a Maori district for the purpose of the said Act: And whereas by section four of the said Act it is further provided that the Governor may in such Proclamation appoint a Stipendiary Magistrate or Government agent to be Returning Officer for each of such districts:
