NOTICE OF INTENTION TO APPLY FOR AN EXTENSION OF TERM

OF PATENT.

TAKE notice that, in pursuance of section 29 of the above Act, we, the undersigned patentees, FRANK WILLIAM PETRE, of Dunedin, Architect, and ALEXANDER ARTHUR SCULLY, of Christchurch, Police Constable, intend to present, and will forthwith so present. a petition to His Excellency the Governor, praying for the extension for a further term of fourteen years of Letters Patent No. 8217, dated 23rd January, 1896, for an invention for an automatic instructor, a machine to be used for the purpose of registering instructions to be given to the driver or any other person on a locomotive, railway-train, or other wheeled vehicle, and automatically deliver same when necessary; also to indicate at any time the exact position of the locomotive. train, or wheeled vehicle.
