- Lands proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Blocks I and XXI, Chatton Survey District, Southland County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of “The Land Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owners, mortgagees, and caveators of the lands mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Southland County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, proclaim as a road the lands in Chatton Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road first hereinbefore proclaimed.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nine.

Land in the Borough of Wanganui taken for the Purposes of a Post-office.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1908,” for the purposes of a post-office:
And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a post-office as aforesaid; and it is hereby declared that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the powers conferred by “The Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1907,” and “The Public Works Act, 1908,” to enable spoil to be taken from such land, in order to carry out reclamation works:
And whereas the Wellington Harbour Board has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by “The Public Works Act, 1908”:
And whereas the Wellington Harbour Board has duly obtained the consent of the Minister of Public Works to the taking of the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, as required by subsection (a) of section fifty-four of “The Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1907”:
