Maori Lands for Lease by Public Tender under the Provisions of “The Maori Lands Administration Act, 1900,” and its Amendments.
Office of the Tokerau District Maori Land Board,
Auckland, 24th December, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections of the Parengarenga and Pakohu Blocks will be reoffered for lease by public tender at greatly reduced upset annual rentals:—

The leases are situated around Parengarenga Harbour at the northern extremity of the Auckland Land District, in Parengarenga, Muriwhenua, Hohoura West, and Tarawara Survey Districts. Access from Awanui is by track to the west coast, and along the beach to Hukatere, thence through Hohoura to Parenga—a total distance of about fifty-five miles. There is a fortnightly steamer service from Auckland, 240 miles distant. The altitude of the land is generally from sea-level to 430 ft.
Tenders will be received by me up till 10 a.m. on Saturday, the 30th day of January, 1909.
Posters and plans giving full particulars may be obtained on application to the office of the Board, or can be seen at any post-office in the district.
