EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of the outstanding duplicate of Memorandum of Mortgage No. 9718, the Trustees of the Loyal Tapanui Lodge of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Odd Fellows Mortgagee, of Section 11, Block X, Glenkenich District, and application having been made to me to register a discharge of the said mortgage, I hereby give notice that I will register the said discharge as requested, dispensing with the duplicate of the said mortgage, unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same within fourteen days from the publication hereof.

TAKE notice that the name of the New Zealand Patent Ruler Manufacturing Company (Limited) has been struck off the Register, and the company dissolved.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at the registered office of the company, No. 6 Manse Street, Dunedin, on the 19th day of May, 1909, the following special resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company, also duly convened, and held at the same place on the 7th day of June, 1909, the following resolution was duly confirmed, viz.:
“That the company be wound up voluntarily.”
And at such last-mentioned meeting CHARLES RUSSELL SMITH, of Dunedin, Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the Piako County Council, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road from the Waitoa–Matamata Road to the Waitoa River, through a portion of the Block Matamata North No. 2, in the Wairere Survey District, Block VIII—and that for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said land has been deposited at the office of the Piako County Council, in Whitaker Street, Te Aroha, and is there open to inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours; and take notice that all persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Piako County Council at its office aforesaid.

THE NGUNGURU SAWMILLING COMPANY (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).
ALL creditors and other persons having claims against the above-named company are hereby required to forward to the Liquidator, at his office, Strand Arcade, Auckland, on or before the 1st day of July, 1909, full particulars thereof in writing, with a statement of their accounts, and the nature of the securities (if any) held by them. And notice is hereby given that in default thereof they will be excluded from the distribution of such sum as may be realised from the sale of the assets of the company.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230 of “The Companies Act, 1908,” that a General Meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the registered office of the company, Rattray Street, Dunedin, on Friday, the 2nd day of July, 1909, at 12 o’clock noon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between us, the undersigned, FREDERICK WILLIAM EURE and CHARLES HENRY AMBRIDGE, carrying on business as Drapers and Clothiers, at Gisborne, under the style or firm of “EURE AND AMBRIDGE,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 19th day of April, 1909.
The said Frederick William Eure will continue to carry on the business in his own name, and will pay and discharge all debts and liabilities of the said firm, and is entitled to receive all moneys due and payable to them.
